It was several years ago, while I was at a craft show selling my rosaries that a woman walked up to me and asked if I had ever seen a Mother's Rosary before. I replied that I had not, so she was kind enough to show me the one that had been designed for her mother years ago. Thus, we were given the wonderful opportunity to make this wonderful rosary for women all over the world! A Mother's Rosary is very similar to a Mother's Ring in concept. A "base bead color" is chosen (we use white or ivory pearls) then, important birthstones are incorporated to the rosary. Here are some examples of what one might like to use for birthstone beads on their rosary:
Mother's Birthstone
Husband's Birthstone
Birthstone of the couple's wedding anniversary month
Birthstone of the month the mother's husband passed away
Birthstones of the mother's children, grandchildren or great grandchildren
Birthstones of the spouses of the mother's children
These are, of course, just a few examples. You really can do whatever you would like to make your Mother's Rosary unique and special just to you.

9 stones 22 stones
Here are a few examples of some other unique ways to assemble a Mother's Rosary. These rosaries gave each decade to a birthmonth. Yet one more unique look!
Any way you look at it, a Mother's Rosary, no matter how it is assembled, is a one of a kind, truly unique gift for that special mother in your life!
