This is a short Guide about CERTIFIED MERCHANT CREDIT CARD and DEBIT CARD ACCOUNTS

eBay now requires sellers to use paypal or accept credit/debit card online payment

If sellers choose not to use paypal, they must accept credit cards and/or debit cards with a Merchant Account

What is a Merchant Account?

It is the same/similar type of account that banks provide to stores and businesses (for example - Macy's, Target, Walmart, Safeway, etc.) in order to process credit and debit cards.

The application process to qualify for a Merchant Account includes strict guidelines, screening and credit analysis of the seller and the seller's business.

My particular Merchant Account allows me to accept Visa and MasterCard and Discover Card for my ebay offerings.  This is an Authorized ebay Application, so it has ebay's approval.  In addition, secure online payments are encrypted for the buyer's protection.  Shopping on ebay with me is safe and secure, and I look forward to working with you.
