What Happens if My Oneida Pattern is discontinued?

Many of the older Oneida patterns are no longer available from the company. They make the pattern for a limited time and then discontinue the pattern, meaning that new pieces are no longer made.  However, sometimes retailers will still have what is called "New Old Stock" What that means is that the older pattern has been sitting in the store for many years and although it might be discontinued, they still have new pieces.  Sometimes new stock can be purchased from replacement companies but the easiest place to find discontinued patterns is to do a search on eBay! If you know the name of your pattern, do a general search on the pattern name on eBay .
