I've heard astrology called many things, most of which weren't good. Everything from the "Devil's work" to "evil." But nothing could be further from the truth.

Astrology is a Science. It is the study of how the planets within our solar system affect our lives. You might be thinking how could planets in our solar system impact who we are or what we do? I’ll give you an example. Did you know that the human body is made up of 70% salt water? Just like our oceans are made of?

The closest planet to earth is our Moon. It's gravitational pull is strong enough to cause the earth’s oceans to come in and out. It affects our tides, month after month with precision. So if the Moon can move the tides of the oceans salt water, why wouldn't it be able to have an affect on our bodies?

In actuality it does have an affect, and so do the other planets within our solar system. Astrology is the study of those affects. Each planet represents different themes within our lives. Many of these themes were taken from philosophies of the Greek and Rome Gods, known as mythology. But were they really myths? There is so much about earth's past history that is still unexplained. Why would so many cultures write about similar things if there wasn't some validity to them.

I don't have all the answers about life’s mysteries or what came before my lifetime but all the unanswered questions have allowed me to open up my imagination to a world of possibilities. What if...what if it were true? What if it were possible? What if the universe were much more "organized" than we think it is? What if road maps and blueprints were available to guide us each step of the way, if we only knew were to find them? What if we were put here on earth to learn certain things and gain certain knowledge? What if our existence was much more organized then we thought it was? What if our lives were "purpose" driven and not "haphazard?"

What if Astrology really could help people?. Offer them guidance, help them be less confused? Life is all about proper timing. In the Bible it talks about, "...to everything there is a season under heaven."

What if Astrology could help a person make the right choices or decisions at the right time? And what if that help could improve their overall quality of life by making fewer mistakes or at least explaining why they made the mistakes they did? Have you ever wondered why you said or did something that you did? I think everyone of us has had moments in our life like that. Astrology understands and knows why, it has helpful answers.

If Astrology could help people make better choices with their lives wouldn't people benefit from this guidance? How could helping people through obstacles be a bad thing? If it's all not true then the worst that could happen is people would just go on living their lives as they are already.

There are so many sayings that are based from the philosophies of the Bible, such as "seek and thou shall find," and "God helps those who helps themselves." Maybe Astrology was created to help answer questions about why our life if the way it is. How can it hurt to be opened minded about it?

So where do I stand? Do I believe in God? Yes, I believe there is a "higher power." Something greater than just me. A supreme being, or the God source, or by whatever name a person wants to call him/it.

Do I believe in the power of prayer? Most definitely! Prayers are thoughts of positive energy. The more positive the energy the more positive the results. You get from life what you put into. If you are always thinking negatively more of the same seems to come our way. But when you say positive prayers of hope and faith and others do the same, it can move mountains to improve a persons outlook and attitude. Prayers can help bring a person peace and tranquility. I believe in miracles. Prayers can bring miracles.

All religion is good. All of earth’s people should be allowed to practice the religion that their cultures have given them. No one should judge them for their beliefs. There is no right or wrong religion. There is not right or wrong philosophy. It’s up the individual what works or feels right to them, and even the Bible, states, "Judge not, or you to shall be judged."

I remember reading somewhere, someone asking Mother Teresa if she would join them on their march against war and she told them, no, but she’d join them in their quest for peace. The more we concentrate our energies on war the more it prevails. If we turned our focus toward peace and love, that could turn the world around!

I find it all very interesting and insightful. I’m hungry for the knowledge that speaking with other people, of other nationalities from my own brings. There is so much knowledge to be gained from opening your mind to the possibilities of all things having some truth and merit to them.

I was raised to follow the "golden rule." "Do on to others as you would have done to you." Therefore, I try to go through my life showing kindness and consideration whenever I can, because that is what I would like back from others. Some days I do good with this rule and other days...well, I need to keep practicing...practice makes perfect.

I am a caring, intuitive person. I think I was given an extra helping of human emotions. Sometimes this has been a blessing and sometimes it has hindered me. I can instinctively "feel" another persons emotions and moods. I can feel their pain and sorrow, therefore I’m capable of great compassion. This is the gift that God gave to me. I’ve been studying Astrology since I was 14 years old. I’ve been trying to help others.
