If you are like me you are buying things constantly to keep ahead of your little darlings needs. I do not want to be caught without diapers, clothing that fits, etc. Here is what I have found you really need!

1) Robeez or Bobux - I have also found that since these are WASHABLE, used are just as good. DO NOT BE FOOLED by the cheap version at Target that Bobux has out now - MiniStar - these are NOT worth the money, you are better off with a used pair of authentic Robeez or Bobux.

2) 3 to 4 pairs of jammies - you do NOT need more than that...you will be doing laundry and baby can wear them twice if they do not 'explode' into them overnight. Here is another place where I buy used!!! Where is baby going in her jammies anyway; and you can get super cute expensive jammies CHEAP this way.  Like $1-$5 vs. $10 or more per pair of PJ's.  I say this rule applies into toddlerhood!!!

3) Jeans, at least two pair. These work EVERYWHERE for any baby - again, used work great! They do NOT wear them out.  Buy new ones on clearance, then resell on eBay.  Once I resold a pair of jeans that at bought at Once Upon a Child right back to them...again I say baby jeans do NOT wear out!!

4) Infant stroller, yes, but when they outgrow the baby car seat my money is on the Jeep strollers with the super size wheels! --Unless you are a SERIOUS JOGGER--- I got the Jeep liberty stroller with the baby "wheel" that entertains her on long walks and the speakers where I can entertain myself with music from my iPod or XM Radio...yes, they BOTH plug in and work. BONUS: it rolls over EVERY TERRAIN!

5) Super cheap umbrella stroller for hubby's car. Again, who cares if it is used?

6) for the first 6 months --- Gerber t-shirts, they are the BEST!

7) Old Navy socks, cheap and wonderful.

8) An Amazon.com account to get good deals on diapers AND free shipping when it is available. And now with auto-delivery enrollment you can save even more $$$.  Pampers Cruisers are the BEST.  I tried Luvs and Huggies and even Target brand, they are NO match.  I pay the same for Pampers as everyone else pays for Luvs, etc.  because of my Amazon.com addiction.  (Sorry eBay, this is my source for diapers...much like eBay is for EVERYTHING else.)

9) When baby starts to walk, ONE GOOD PAIR of ecco shoes. Get a neutral color and get them fitted at somewhere like Nordstroms. If you find out what size you need you can then try to find a pair on eBay, again...used is an option here.

10) Nuby sippy cups! THESE ROCK and you can find them on eBay! Get the ones without the handles, they do not leak...the two handled one is okay at first, but only get one or two of this style.

11) DIAPER CHAMP - Forget the diaper geni, it is NOT NEARLY as good as diaper champ...and diaper champ uses ANY bags! My husband was astounded with Diaper Champ after having a diaper geni for his first two kids. 17 months and still no smelly baby room.

I found that I NEVER needed a boppy, my breasts are much too large! I never needed more than 6 bottles---but I breastfed mostly. And you do NOT need that many toys...my baby likes to play with the cat, the throw rugs and pillows, boxes, almost EVERYTHING but her toys! Focus on the baby and having fun, sing silly songs, go for walks, then shop on eBay while they nap!
