When placing an ebay ad it may be may be a month or more for it to conclude..yet buyers often expect sellers to be available the instant the buyer emails. Place an ad for 10 days. It may take a buyer a day or two to respond..thats 12 days. Most buyers will pay in a week, but a lot of buyers take 3 weeks to "get around" to mailing payment. Now we are up to 33 days. I have many 1st class letters take a week to deliver. Now 40 days have lapsed from the day the ad was placed. The human condition is such it is impossible to know what tomorrow will bring..or what fate has in store for you 40 days from now. Still many buyers expect the efficency of a 911 operator from sellers. Both buyers and sellers will find life easier if they exercise a little patience when communication is a bit slow.
