We all know the hybrids, cars that combine fuel and electrical power to run the engine. The ones to look for here are the Honda Insight (more than 60 miles per gallon (mpg) and the Toyota Prius (MPG above 50).

But what about the others? I read through a few dozen web sites to come up with a list of the best fuel effcient cars.
