Ever think of creating a "Mystery" auction? First and formost you need to do some research in the "Mystery" Auctions section. To get there go to "Buy" then "Everything Else" then "Mystery Auctions". Then you should review ebaY's policies on mystery auctions. Make sure you know what you can and can't do. This will make it more likely that your auction will not get pulled.

Make sure your buyer knows they are only bidding on/buying a box or envelope and that everything that comes with it is a FREE gift. You can give clues as to what you will be giving away for free but never come stright out and say what it is!

 For the best exposure you will need to Feature it. Featuring may cost $19.95 but remember that more people will look at it which means more people will look at your other auctions. Paying the extra $.40 for 10 days is also helpful.

Your "Mystery" Auction can not be a lottery, raffle, or give-a-way. No where in the auction should it say any of this! EVERYTHING is a "GIFT"!!! Make sure your auction is fun, your bidders/buyers are having fun and that you are having fun. Don't cheat or scam your buyers! They are your customers and everyone knows that a happy customer is a repeat customer!

Before you ever bid on a mystery auction make sure you check out the sellers feedback! See not only what other people are saying, but see the item that they are saying it about. Be weary of the ones that claim to give away $1,000 and even millions in gifts. This (99% of the time) means that you will recieve a $1,000 gift certificate to online shopping that will cost you another $300+ for shipping! I have never recieved one but that is because I make sure I check feedback!

Make sure that the seller accepts PayPal. I NEVER bid on any item that the seller does not accept PayPal! It is really the most safe way of paying for ANY item you win on ebaY!
