FACTORY RECONDITIONED Tools are generally tools that were taken in by the factory service centers. They have all mechanical defects repaired and all worn parts replaced. They are fully tested to meet new tool performance specifications. No effort is made to make these look like new tools. These items are sold for functionality not appearance. If the cosmetics of the tool are more important than the quality, Reconditioned tools may not be a good choice. Most of our tools come with a full 1-year factory warranty.

We have found that Recon tools have a lower failure rate than new tools. This is because new tools are randomly tested for quality control. Recon tools are reconditioned by one technician and he tests it before putting his code on it.
