Wedding Planning Checklist

10-12 Months
* Select your date
* You choose your bridesmaids and he needs to choose the groomsmen
* Book your ceremony and reception sites
6-9 Months
*Send "Save the date" cards out
* Shop and order you bridal gown and headpiece
*Meet with the caterer and discuss the menu.
* Meet with the florist and pick out the flowers
*Select bridesmaids’ dresses
* Reserve hotel rooms for out-of-town guests
* Start your wedding gift registry
4-5 Months
* Order your wedding invitations
* Choose the baker for your wedding cake.
* Reserve rehearsal dinner location
* Go with groom to pick out his tuxedos
* If you have showers planned, get together the guest list.
* Shop for wedding rings
* Plan your honeymoon
2-3 Months
* Finalize the wedding guest list
* Finalize the reception menu
* Book hair and makeup appointments
* Your dress is probably in ,so now you need to choose your accessories to match. Like your jewelry,shoes, foundation garments, garter, etc.
* Select wedding favors and accessories like your guest book and pen, ring pillow, toasting glasses,etc.
* Schedule bridesmaids’ luncheon
* Mail invitations eight weeks before your wedding day
* Confirm tuxes have been ordered for groom and groomsmen
* Select music for the ceremony and reception
1-2 Months
*Have your first wedding gown fitting.
* Buy attendant gifts
* Meet with your preacher to finalize the ceremony
3-4 weeks
* Design and order your wedding program
* Get your marriage license
* Buy an emergency kit to take to the wedding, that has with cleaning solution, needle & thread, etc. Just in case something happens, then your prepared.
1-2 Weeks
* Have your final wedding dress fitting
* Confirm all of your beauty appointments
* Confirm date, times, locations and guest count with all vendors
* Prepare guest favors and place cards
The Day Before
* Have a manicure, pedicure and massage to relax
* Rehearsal of ceremony
On Your Wedding Day
* Make sure to wear a button-down shirt to your hair and makeup appointments so you can easily change into your gown without disturbing your wedding hairstyle
* Be sure you take the emergency kit in case you may need something.
To Do After Your Wedding
* Write and mail your thank-you notes.
* Finalize your photo album and scrapbook
* Get your wedding gown cleaned and preserved
