I am very surprised at the prices that the webkins and the charms are going for on eBay. I think that the buyers should check the local stores. The new "rare" penguin that is listed repeated, well I saw it in 4 stores yesterday and it was $12.99 in each store. I've not seen one sell that cheap on eBay yet. And the charms are only $4 at Limited Too and they mark up higher than other stores. I'm not trying to knock eBay , I both buy and sell but I think that consumers should take a stand to make a statement not to pay more and then have to wait a week for an item you can get for less by driving to your nearest mall. Discontinued items are different but we are only driving up the market when we agree to pay more. I feel like going to the store and buying a bunch and then selling them for more on eBay. I don't think that that is suppose to be the spirit of eBay. It should not be higher than retail.
