CONSUMER INFORMATION regarding Waterford BRYANNE PLATINUM Bedding, Pillows and Drapes:

Date first discovered: February 26, 2008.

Waterford Bryanne Platinum Bedding was recently reintroduced through Dillard's Department Stores. It may have been reintroduced through a few other higher end department stores as well but I've not seen it in person any where else except Dillard's. These newer Bedding Sets were manufactured using a different coloration Stripe Fabric than the original Sets had. The original Sets had a true Platinum on Platinum, Tone on Tone Stripe Fabric, rich in color. These Sets recently manufactured have a Stripe Fabric that looks more like Gray on Cream or Dark Gray on Light Gray.

This Stripe Fabric is used in the Bed Skirt, Shams, Decorative Pillows and Window Valance.

Because the coloration is definitely different than the originally produced Sets, this might pose a problem for those who are buying this Set by the piece instead of all at once from the same location. The same is true for pieces you are purchasing on eBay. If you end up with pieces from both time periods, you will have mismatched sets. Although this new Stripe Fabric does coordinate with the Comforter Top and Reverse Fabrics, it is not a perfect coloration match like the originally produced Sets featured. If the change were not so obvious, I would not be writing this.

Because I sell these Fabrics, customers who order Platinum Stripe Fabric need to be aware of this change before they buy. I sell only the Platinum Stripe Fabric which the original Sets were manufactured with. Swatches can be made available to customers who are not sure what they already have.
