Coin Buying, Buyers Beware
A few words on coin buying on E-Bay or elsewhere that might help fellow members avoid making a big mistake that will only bring frustration and disappointment.
After investigating on my own, reading the guide on E-Bay, I am of the conclusion that I should share my findings with the rest of the community.
Beware of coins offered by "Several" well established coin selling stores here on E-Bay that are graded by GEC. Seems GEC only grades coins as MS67...and if you look closely enough, do your research, you will see that this is in a word....bull****. These sellers know and most buyers don't.
Take the time to use Google, enter the stores name in question, and you will be amazed at the horrendous feedbacks and information left on them. Buyers Beware!!!
I have learned the hard way and am presently in the process of refusing to complete a purchase I made from one of these "high" rated stores. They know what they are doing, get a tremendous amount of positives from ignorant purchasers.
An educated approach to buying coins should be the only way before bidding.
Hope this helps someone avoid a huge disappointment.
