After 7 years and a ton of spoof or phishing emails later, I just got this one that almost got me.
I realized it probably wasn't a real one since it didn't have my name in it and opened with: Dear eBay Community Member.
I went to My eBay, checked my messages and sure enough it wasn't there. I had a recent contact with eBay regarding a matter, so the timing for me was perfect on this spoof.
Read this one, it is different then most of the others and watch out...this time of the year my box gets full each morning between the eBay and Pay Pal spoof emails.
