Have you found yourself paying full retail price or more for Sizzix and Sizzlits dies and accessories?

As a newcomer to the world of die cutting and the Ellison company - I paid, what simple research later proved, higher than retail prices for many of my die. The specific dies I wanted would usually be in high demand and I would not be outbid!

My local Michael's Craft Store carried the die, but the shelves were always empty where the die were meant to be. (If you must shop Michael's - be sure to locate the weekly ad in your local paper for 40% off a single item.)

Interested in purchasing a catalog so that I could pick which die I wanted most of all and to see a better description of the dies I bid on, I contacted Sizzix directly via email on their website. The customer service was highly personable! My request for a catalog was granted and within 3 days the extensive catalog had arrived via USPS mail.

SURPRISE! The catalog showed all the various lines, alphabets, machines, ad infinitum...retail prices were listed and I was shocked that you could buy direct from Sizzix and their huge stock. No more racing to Michael's on restocking day. As I further perused my new catalog I was amazed at the center of the catalog were two pages of extraordinary coupons. Each coupon represented a specified time period and product type that it was meant for. These were not measly discounts like, "over $100 and shipping is free". The discounts are SERIOUS discount! 40% - 50% - 60% off of first quality, brand new, direct from the manufacturer items! There really was no catch!

Within  a month or so I had an enviable inventory of dies, both machines, endless accessories. Thousands of dollars in product for hundreds of dollars! Direct from the manufacturer and without the hassle of wholesale buyer information. I thought I had the inside track - until I navigated around the Sizzix website and discovered the exciting online sales and clearances! My greatest discovery yet is the TUESDAYS TEASERS! Each Tuesday from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm (PST) there are online specials that are unbelievable. Every day CLEARANCE sections are worth a look, too - but the Tuesday Teasers section will speak for itself. The section and items are not open, even for viewing,  except on Tuesday.

SO, find the Sizzix official website and register your email address for advance notification of online specials, request a catalog as a first time customer, and get lost in the endless pages of the sizzix.com website.
