Be careful buying items sold as genuine WWII Airborne Ranger items from anyone. These poor people have not researched the facts. The Ranger Companies were never Airborne before the 1st  Airborne Ranger Company of 1950. They were sent immediately to Korea and attached to the Second Indian Head Division. Upon being detached from the Indian Head they were joined to the 187th RCT. There is a great wealth of information and history available on the internet for anyone wanting facts.
