I have done a lot of research and made many mistakes when I first started selling on Ebay and buying wholesale lots. I didn't list my items with enough information and I paid too much for wholesale lots. This is what I have learned. I shoop Gymboree during sales and use Gymbucks too. I don't buy wholesale lots unless it's at least 80% off retail. I shop sales and consignment shoops for Gymboree and other name brand clothes to resell. I find that kids clothing auctions usually have higher bids on tuesday thru thursday evening. Having an Ebay store is very beneficial because listing fees are so much cheaper and your listings are for 30 days. Size 2 to 6 clothing seems to sell better also. I buy off season items and then keep them until the right season to sell. The most helpful websites I have been to are Gymbohaven which identifies the Gymboree lines if I am not sure which line they are from and it's free! Sellers sourcebook helps to make my auctions stand out and you can have as many photo's as you need without the extra cost. It is only $8 a month and well worth it. Here comes the stork has given me many helpful ideas also. My best advice is to start slow! You can start by selling your own items and investing that money into your inventory. I love Ebay! You can find almost anything you want here, plus you can sell your items to pay for what you want.
