WOMENS SIZING CHART: Ladies get your Tape Measurers
I decided to add a Womens Sizing Chart to my Guides to assist Women in finding their correct size, based on US SIZING STANDARDS. Not all sizes are created equal; so it is always best to get out the tape measurer and take your measurements.
NOT ALL SIZES ARE CREATED EQUAL! THERE GENERALLY APPEARS TO BE MORE THEN ONE SIZING MEASUREMENT FOR EACH SIZE AND EUROPEAN SIZING DOES NOT TRANSLATE INTO AMERICA SIZING EXACTLY WHEN CONVERTING CENTIMETERS TO INCHES. EUROPEAN SIZES ALSO VARY FROM COUNTY TO COUNTY.
HOW AND WHERE TO TAKE THESE MEASUREMENTS:

BUST: PLACE THE TAPE MEASURER AROUND YOUR BUST AT THE FULLEST PART. THE TAPE SHOULD BE STRAIGHT ACROSS YOUR BACK. GET ASSISTANCE FROM A FRIEND IF NEED BE. DO NOT PULL THE TAPE TIGHT.

WAIST: THIS IS THE AREA ABOVE THE HIP BONES.TAKE YOUR FINGERS AND FEEL WHERE THE HIP BONES ARE IN RELATIONSHIP TO THE BOTTOM OF RIB CAGE. THE TAPE SHOULD FIT (BETWEEN THESE TWO AREAS=ABOUT TWO FINGERS SPACE SHOULD BE DISTANCE) DO NOT PULL THE TAPE TIGHT.

HIPS: THIS IS THE WIDEST PART OF YOUR HIPS (MOST PEOPLE TAKE THIS MEASUREMNET INCORRECTLY.) IT IS THE AREA OF THE HIP THE JUST MEETS THE UPPER THIGH AREA THAT IS THE WIDEST PART OF THE HIP AND WHERE THE MEASUREMENT SHOULD BE TAKEN.

ONE OF THE LARGEST DIFERENCES BETWEEN STANDARD SIZES AND PETITE SIZES IS IN THE LENGTH MEASUREMENTS. (ARMS/LEGS/TOROS/NAPE OF NECK TO WAIST-BACK MEASUREMENT/WAIST TO KNEE) PETITE SIZING IS FOR A VERY SMALL BODY FRAME.

MEASUREMENTS REFER TO THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TOP OF THE WAISTBAND AND THE CROTCH SEAM
SITS ABOVE THE WAIST = 11"-12"
SITS AT WAIST = 10"-11"
SITS LOW ON WAIST = 8½"- 10"
SITS ULTRA LOW ON WAIST = 7"-8½"
