WHY LEAVE FEEDBACK

This guide is geared towards new EBayers.

Feedback is the main reason that EBay has seperated itself from other online auctions, The main reason why EBay is the most popular auction site on the Internet today.

When you buy or sell an item on EBay you have the ability to leave feedback for the person you brought from, Or the person you sold too, .

Leaving feedback gives other users a good idea of how good the person they are dealing with is, It can create confidence, Knowing that if a user has good feedback then nothing should go wrong with the deal. And vice a verca, If a buyer or seller has multiple negative feedbacks it can be a warning sign for you to stay away from that person.

However, If a seller or buyer has hundreds or thousands of feedback remarks, You can expect them to have some negative feedbacks, For example a seller may have 1500 positive feedbacks and 20 negative feedbacks, This doesnt mean stay away from this seller, Some people will leave negative feedback If the item got lost in the mail and they didnt purchase Insurance from the seller, And unfortunatly, There are people who will leave negative feedback even if a deal goes well.

Leaving feedback for aother people will aslo help you gain feedback which will help you if you sell items on Ebay.

There are 3 types of feedback you can leave:

• POSITIVE
• NUETRAL
• NEGATIVE

Leave Positive feedback if the whole deal went smoothly, and to your satisfaction.

Leave Nuetral feedback if the deal went ok, But maybe the seller took a longtime to ship the item, Or the buyer took a long time to pay,

Leave Negative feedback only after trying to resolve any problems you have with the buyer or seller, A lot of times the problem can be resolved without having to leave Negative feedback.

 If buying from a seller in another country be advised that there can be significant delays, I recently shipped a box to Malaysia, It was stopped in Customs in Malaysia and took a total of 7 weeks to arrive to the buyer.
