Where is Henry? Taken from August 1996 Naber Kids Newsletter
What ever happened to Henry? Henry was the 25th Naber Kid and he became one of the lost character. His story is very interesting. The first Henry had brown hair but subsequent Henrys ended up with natural hair. This 'imp' was carved from strong German Oak. Soon after his first cast, which by the way, sold very well because of his extremely cute features. Then one day tragedy struck when his mold was dropped on the floor of the factory. This mishap caused him to be retired early. No more Henrys were able to be made. Even more disappointing was during the convention, here in Mr. Nabers office, the very 1st Henry was stolen right from the shelf! There was a $5,000.00 reward offered, but alas he was not returned. Note: Henry was carved in 1991 and 558 pieces were created. His issue price was $200 and his value now is listed at $1,800. Thanks, Diane
