All you need is one or two plastic straws, and a little patience.
Here's a handy little trick I learned while I was a bartender. Once the cork breaks off inside the bottle, and you see it's floating in there. Grab a plastic straw and tie a knot in it at one end (this also can be done with two straws). Hold the straw and place the knotted end inside the bottle. Use the straw(s) to gently maneuver the cork up the neck. The knot in the straw works as the support under the cork as it moves up. Once the cork is in position in the neck of the bottle, slowly, but firmly pull out the straw(s). And viola...
