You just bought a Vonage WiFi UTstarcom F1000 Phone...

It did not come with an earpiece....

you buy one...

it does not work.... you buy another one.... no luck

I called vonage, who told me to call utstarcom, who told me to call adudiovox, who told me to call vonage to ask what make/model headset would work with this phone & none of them knew!

I was up until 2am trying to find this information 

I searched hi & low for this information & this is what I found....

The ONLY headset cable that can be used with the vonage wifi UTstarcom model F1000 Phone

is a 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm stereo audio adapter

as the quickstar guide states " 2.5mm round, 3 ring conductor"

which translates to:

Nokia HDB-5 Boom Headset Handsfree

For others like me who can't find a headset for the phone

The F1000 supports a standard headphone jack that has a round 2.5mm 4
conductor plug (4 silver sections with 3 black rings). A
headset/earpiece with this type of jack is usually referred to
as "Nokia Style" connector and is available at most cell phone
accessory retailers or online.
