1) When you receive your vinyl, carefully unroll it and lay it out gently on a clean flat surface

2) On the surface, straighten out the vinyl using the squeegee provided

3) With a clean cloth, clean the surface with 2-to-1 mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol (recommended)
If not available, Windex may be used

4) Using a clean, dry dust and lint-free cloth, wipe dry

Before continuing, please ensure that the air and surface temperature is between 55-90 degF.

You might want to have someone help you if this is your first time installing vinyl.

5) Using a water-soluble pencil, mark the corners of where the vinyl will be applied

6) Have some masking tape and if necessary to make adjustments, application fluid or a water spray-bottle handy.

7) Take the vinyl pack (ie vinyl + backing+application tape) and position it carefully where the markings are made.

8) Once positioned correctly, add masking tape strips at intervals on the top edge of the vinyl to hold it in place.

(9) is an Optional step)

9) Spray the surface under the vinyl with water/application liquid (application liquid is preferred to water) DO NOT SPRAY WATER/APPLICATION LIQUID WHEN APPLYING REFLECTIVE VINYL. REFLECTIVE VINYL MUST BE APPLIED ON A DRY SURFACE

10) Lift the vinyl and carefully remove the paper backing (bottom most sheet). DO NOT REMOVE THE APPLICATION TAPE (top most sheet) AT THIS POINT

11) Carefully lay the sticky side down on the surface, making sure to avoid air bubbles from forming as much as possible

12) Make sure no wrinkles are in the decal or application tape. If wrinkles did form, gently peel from the surface and re-adjust

13) With the application tape still intact, squeegee out any air bubbles by firmly applying even force to the vinyl, starting from the middle of the decal and moving it outwards towards the edge.

14) If water/application liquid was used, allow a few minutes for the liquid to dry a little.

15) Repeat squeegeeing the entire decal a second time.

16) Carefully peel the application tape away from the vinyl. If vinyl peels with the tape, carefully lay it back to the surface and squeegee it down firmly. Repeat if necessary until the tape completely peels away from the vinyl

17) It is common for some air bubbles to be trapped under the vinyl. Most of these will leave on their own after a few weeks. If there are any large bubbles, carefully prick a small hole to let the air escape or just apply some pressure with your thumb.

Reduce damage by leaving the small bubbles to dissapate on their own.

18) In the even that a wrinkle formed during application, carefully make a slit where the tunneling occurs with an x-acto knife. Gently press flat the slit vinyl back to the surface.
