Buying vintage on eBay can be both fun and frustrating.  There is a whole world of wild & wacky one-of-a-kind items to choose from, timeless classics and era-icons alike-- beautiful designs that you can't find anywhere else!  Vintage items possess character and history lacking in modern, mass-produced items- that's why we love them!  But they are rarely perfect, so it's very important to know what flaws may be present or visible --because you shouldn't have to bear the loss for one of these unfortunate surprises! 

Though most sellers provide more than one picture, some apparently fabulous vintage items are sadly lacking in photographic detail, description, or both.  When deciding where to spend your money, be sure to carefully read the condition statement.  If the seller does not already provide this information, ask them!  And if the condition is anything less than "excellent," be sure to find out what features of the item are compromised.  Some flaws are tolerable, others can be quite bothersome. 

Also, be sure to check the sellers' RETURN policy, a reputable seller will assure your happiness.  When you buy online, you must have faith in the seller's honesty and accurate representation of the item.  The seller, in turn, should show appreciation for the risk you are taking by expressing confidence in the items they sell.  Be sure that the seller you choose to buy from is straightforward about vintage condition & values customer satisfaction.  Buyers, you deserve it!
