Many people seem to be confused as to which KRAMER guitars from the 1980's were actually made in the USA. I will provide a list below of the Korean made lines. It is rather easy to get confused since many overseas guitars actually have a neck plate that says "KRAMER Neptune NJ USA".
Striker Series
Introduced in 1984 the Striker Series consisted of seven guitars and a bass. The model numbers were 100ST, 200ST, 300ST, 400ST, 500ST, 600ST, 605ST and 700ST (bass). Early versions were available with traditional full fulcrum or Floyd Rose single locking non tuner tremolos while later ones had Floyd Rose II's installed. Some were also equipped with Seymor Duncan designed pickups.
The line ran until 1989.
Aerostar Series
Introduced in 1986 the Aerostar Series consisted of four guitars and a bass. The model numbers were ZX10, ZX20, ZX30, ZX30H and ZX70 (bass). These guitars came with traditional tremolos and some were equipped with EMG Select pickups.
The line ran until 1989.
XL Series
Introduced in 1987 the XL Series consisted of seven guitars and a bass. The model numbers were XL1, XL2, XL3, XL6 and XL7 (bass). They all came with a traditional full fulcrum tremolo.
The line ran until 1990.
100 Series
Introduced in 1988 the 100 Series consisted of twelve guitars and a bass. The model numbers were 110, 111, 112, 210, 220, 310, 410, 420, 610, 612, 615, 620 and 710 (bass). The pickups were designed by Seymor Duncan and all came with Floyd Rose II tremolos.
