In this guide I have listed the various perfumes presented by Gueldy of Paris France.

Gueldy was established in 1905 by Lelaurin  and A. Sergent at 370 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honore in Paris. The company was later acquired by P. Thibaud et Cie, a majot toilet articles company affiliated with Gibbs, an English toiletries and toothpaste company, established in 1712.

A. Sergent also established Sergy, which produced lower priced perfumes and cosmetics. Gueldy became a major company with large exports. It won a gold medal at the 1925 Paris Exhibition. The company was later acquired by the Lever Brothers.

Prices for Gueldy perfume bottles vary, but here are some sold examples below:

Vision d'Orient: a bottle by Andre Jollivet which features an Oriental mask on both sides and a black stopper. Sold for $1,190 in a 1997 auction.

Le Prestige: a bottle by Julien Viard featuring a winged nymph kneeling on the stopper. Sold for $460 in a 2002 auction.

La Feuilleraie: a bottle with a metallic label and a floral stopper sold for $231 in a 2002 auction.

Alcee: a rectangular bottle with molded roses sold for $412 in a 2002 auction.

Stellamare: a beautiful frosted bottle molded with a seascape and featuring a mermaid by Julien Viard. Sold for $4,630 in a 2005 auction.

Nazir: a clear & frosted glass bottle decorated with drapery and a floral stopper. Sold for $2,020 in a 2005 auction.

Gueldiana: an 8-sided black glass bottle with floral panels, by Saumont, sold for $1,685 in a 2005 auction.
