The history of boxing during the first half of the 20th century is vividly brought to life on cigarette cards that were issued during this period. Boxing is still one of the most hotly pursued sports topics amongst cigarette card collectors. The cards that tend to command the highest prices, as with many sports cards, tend to be those depicting the legends. I've compiled a list below of the most sought after names on boxing cigarette cards from the 1900s-1930s below. I've also listed a selection of some of the rare and unusual boxing cigarette card sets that I've come across in my six years of trading on eBay. I've provided scans of a sample card from each set and I've tried to list as many card titles as possible.
