I am an avid Palestinian Bedouin Costume collector and love the clothes of the time period of when clothing was all handmade and not machine made with crude glue or sew on embroidery.  I also collect clothing from Gaza, Ramallah, Jaffa and Jerusalem.  It is now very hard to find true, authentic costumes from the region, they are very scarce.  There are a lot of fake so called "vintage" and "antique" palestinian bedouin clothing and jewelry being sold here on eBay as such.  There is a website with a wealth of information showing what true Palestinian/Bedouin clothing should look like and how it was  made.  The Palestinian Costume Archive is a non-profit organization that has information, numerous photos and contact information regarding authentic Palestinian clothing, jewelry and the life and times of the Beouin & Palestinan peoples and what is being done to help the oppressed that are now in the region and how you can help those that are in need.
