Vince Carter -Vince Carter Jersey & Bio
Vince Carter is number 15 for the New Jersey Nets these days, but he first made his name in the NBA playing for the Toronto Raptors between 1999 and 2004. A crowd-pleasing slam dunk artist, Carter was popular enough during his early days with the Raptors to be an annual shoe-in for the All-Star games. He was Rookie of the Year in 1999, and winner of the 2000 Slam Dunk Competition.
In fact, those were glory years for Vince, as the Raptors went to the playoffs two years in a row. Carter also caught the world's attention at the 2000 Olympics, with an amazing shot against the French team that had fan jaws dropping everywhere. Vince Carter's relationship with the Raptors eventually soured, though, in spite of all he had done to increase the NBA's popularity in Canada.
By 2005, Carter was a New Jersey Net. So far, New Jersey seems to agree with Carter (where he plays alongside Jason Kidd), and he seems to be returning to form. Carter is still a fan favorite, and he ranks among the top 10 most popular players in terms of jersey sales.
As far as jerseys go, Reebok is currently the official outfitter of the NBA. Authentic jerseys are available (same as the ones worn by the players), as well as replica jerseys, swingman jerseys, and All-Star jerseys. Vince Carter Raptors jerseys are also a popular item.
