So you want to purchase some pots and pans?
Believe me, quality is everything when it comes to pots and pans. The higher quality items feature heat dissipating technology, ergonomic and heat resistant handles, extremely tough non-stick linings and so on. Non-stick = easier cleaning! Nice little bonus.
I would recommend All Clad or Circulon and would recommend that you pick up one of their whole cookware sets. Sure it might cost a little more - but your getting professional equipment that will yield professional results for a long time to come.
But as I know money gets tight. Especially in today's world. All Clad and Circulon both sell individual cookware components.
You can find professional individual cookware components or complete cookware sets on our about me page.
You should start by getting the "Basic Setup" - These are "kitchen essentials."
7 qt. Stock pot for making soups, sauces and for boiling pasta.
2 qt Sauce pan
10 inch sauté pan that can also be used for frying
As money permits, you can add to your "professional" setup.
