SF-3021 has been specially designed for the MORGON MD-30 however, as the number of generic machines increases... sharing a common design this guide will allow you to determine if this kit is good for your machine.

Procedure to establish compatibility

   1. Measure the travel of your machine. You can use a vernier caliper to do this.
         1. Fully retract the quill and take it as reference.
         2. Fully extend the quill and measure the extension.
         3. The travel shall be around 4 inches. If so you are okay.
   2. Measure the holes of the deep gage (z-readout). The holes where the mechanism is attached to. If the holes are larger in diameter than 1/2 inch you are ok.
   3. The opening, the big square cavity where the original scale was in shall be about 6 inches high.
   4. If steps 1 to 3 are ok then your machine is compatible.

The length of the ruler is about 7.4 inches, but the travel is only around 4 inches.
