Do vacuum breast enhancement devices, such as Brava Breast Enhancement, and Bosom Beauty 2012 work? Yes.
Are they as easy to use and effective as eBay sellers say they are? NO!
I have tried countless types of natural breast enhancement including pills, creams, sprays, Brava and Bosom Beauty and so far, the vacuum devices are the only ones that have worked. However, it hasn't been as easy as putting in 10 weeks and growing an extra cup size. If you are contemplating buying one of these systems, first consider the following:
Brava Breast Enhancement
- Cost: This seems to be the biggest deterrent, as we all can't afford to spend $500+ on a system. Until Brava became available on eBay, the only way to get your hands on it would be to pay close to $2000 on the site. Now new and used systems are available for a fraction of the cost; however, because these systems are so high in demand you want to make sure you are getting what you're paying for. Buy from sellers with good, consistent feedback. Avoid anyone without pictures, or who have copied someone else's photos. And do not hesitate to ask your seller for additional photos. Make sure the silicone rims on the domes are still very tacky and firmly attached to the domes, that there is no splitting or lifting of the seams. Keep all your emails in the event that your receive the equipment and it is not as described. In my opinion the best way to go is through Brava on eBay, as you will not only be getting brand new equipment, you will also be registered meaning you can buy additional domes. Also, your equipment is under warranty so if anything breaks within the warranty time you can return it for repair or replacement. The other alternative is if you can find a set of domes seperately you can purchase the patented Botticelli Airlock system as a replacement to the Smartbox. I have used the Airlock and found it to be much more effective, inexpensive and low-maintenance than the Smartbox. With the domes, Airlock, and a large sports bra you can create a similar system to the Brava, in which many women have achieved good results (myself included).
- Wear time: Originally Brava advertised that you should wear the system 10 hours a day for 10 weeks to gain a cup size. In actuality, it is more like 12 hours a day for 12 weeks. I wore my system 12-14 hours a day for 11 weeks and went from 31.5" around the bust to 33". Then I wore for 12-14 hours a day for 12 weeks and gained 1/2". Finally, I wore for 12-14 hours a day for 15 weeks and gained a little less than an inch. If you cannot put in the wear time it's not worth it. You may want to look into the Bosom Beauty instead. It is not wise to wear the system for extended hours such as 20 or more, because your tissue does need time off to heal.
- Domes: Brava domes are plastic with thick, sticky silicone rims for padding against your chest. They come in different sizes: Narrow Medium, Narrow Large, Narrow extra large. I believe you can also get Narrow Small (I bought a set off an ebayer once and with a 33" bust they were WAY too small!) Wide Medium, Wide Large, and Wide extra large. There is a dome size estimator on the Brava website, and a link to the estimator on the auctions provided by the seller originalbrava. I bought several sets of used domes off ebay and they usually lasted me for one and a half cycles (breakdown was responsible for the gaps of time in my Brava use - they would leak and I would have to find new ones). Prices range from $200 to $400, less than $200 if you're lucky. But make sure if you're buying used to get lots of info - how tacky are the rims? Any leakage or splitting or lifting of the silicone seams from the plastic domes? Any breakdown of the silicone inside? Breakdown isn't as critical as splitting, but the less, the better. If the domes are losing their tackiness you can use adhesive sprays such as It Stays! used to adhere wigs and stockings to skin. The spray also helps to form a protective barrier between your skin and the domes. Also try Brava recomended Smith & Nephew No-Sting Skin Care Prep wipes.
- Results: I've been using this equipment off and on for a long time, and joined forums of others doing the same. While most achieve some results, there are a few that don't notice a difference. But as I thought when I started, I have nothing to lose. Most women gained a half cup size to one cup size, and the time they had to wear varied. Some achieved their goal in 10 weeks, others had to wear for three months to a year to get it. Women who have breast fed, or have more breast tissue to work with respond better to Brava than small breasted women, or women with tight breast tissue.
- Comfort: Despite what Brava says you WILL NOT be able to wear the domes out of the house. Even the smallest ones are huge and fake looking. You will probably have to wear the system at night while you're asleep, and if you can't sleep on your back it probably won't work. I used to sleep with my body at a 30 degree angle with a pillow propping me up so I could somewhat sleep on my side. I also found on my back, pillows under the knees and arms helped as well. The domes can be itchy, and you might wake up and have to take them off to scratch. Also, you can develop skin problems so make sure to treat them before you continue the system. Rashes can occur when you sweat inside the domes, similar to diaper rash, and cream with zinc oxide (diaper rash cream) is excellent for that. If you need to wear the domes make sure you cover the rash with a plastic band-aid so the domes will still adhere to your skin. Other than that, most women did not find the pressure painful. If it is than there is too much pressure. If you are using the Airlock and your breasts start turning purple, you have used too much. Let some air out until you are comfortable with the pressure level. At full pressure your breasts you be an inch bigger around. When you take the domes off in the morning there should be an inch or more swelling which lasts a few hours. You will have red marks where the domes pressed against your skin, so don't plan on hitting the beach or wearing low-cut tops the next day!
Bosom Beauty 2012
- Cost: Significantly less than Brava, up to $500 for brand new equipment and you can always purchase parts without having to register. This includes everything you need to get started.
- Wear time: 1 hour per day, for 8 weeks. If you want more growth, take a one week break and start another cycle.
- Domes: Despite what the sellers say, you probably won't be able to make use out of any other domes than the large. Most systems come with small, medium and large. Extra large are now available. But with the amount of suction the small domes are WAY too small. And the extra large may be big enough to help you grow to a C, but the "desired small D cup" that has been advertised as your expected results is highly unlikely. The domes just aren't big enough. The good news is the domes are much cheaper than Brava, about $30 a pair. See more about the domes in the "comfort" section of this review.
- Results: Similar to Brava but you will most likely have to wear it for several cycles to gain a cup size. Sellers optimistically report a cup size per cycle, but most I've talked to (myself included) gain a little less than an inch each cycle, and sometimes nothing at all. Make sure you take breaks in between as it's reported your body can plateau and just stop growing. You need to allow your body proper time to rest, rejuvenate and essentially "reprogram" itself so it is ready to start growing again.
- Comfort: It's sounding pretty good so far, right? Well, this is where it gets women. The domes are hard plastic with no silicone padding, and the pressure of the machine is about 10X what the Smartbox and Airlock are. At first they are unbearable to wear for longer than 10 minutes. The odd woman can do it, but everyone else in our group could not. One woman discovered silicone sheeting on eBay. She cut holes where her breasts go and draped the silicone over her chest. It looks much like a mask. She put the domes over the silicone and started the machine. Some have found the silicone to actually help create a seal. I have tried this method and it made a significant difference. I was able to wear for the whole hour with little discomfort. Because of the pressure, your breasts will darken. After a month of use I was able to wear the domes without the silicone. My body had gotten used to it. I could wear for one hour at full suction. After I finished my cycle it took months for the color to be completely restored. If there is any moisture or sweat between the domes and your skin you could also develop skin problems. The Bosom Beauty has a large vacuuming device that makes a lot of noise when it suctions. Something to keep in mind
Noogleberry
This is one of the newest items I've seen. A reader of this forum emailed me and brought it to my attention. I visited the Noogleberry forum and read up on it, and after seeing very impressive before and after photos I was sold. I have used it for about two months and this is what I've experienced so far.
- Cost: The cheapest of all. A full system - pump, tubing and two sets of breast cups are about $70 USD. Shipping is very fast, and you can always buy spare parts without being registered.
- Wear time: 1-3 times per day, for a half hour or more. I have worn mine 1 time per day for an hour and got results with this!
- Domes: They are smaller than the Bosom Beauty ones (pump is also compatible with the Bosom Beauty tubing and domes) so even if you are an A cup you probably want to get the two largest sizes. They are all available on the website and sometimes even on eBay.
- Results: Noogleberry is still fairly new, but one girl on the forum grew from an A to a C. Aparently because it's "pumping" it's not true growth similar to when you work out and your muscles swell. However, when you reach your goal you only have to do occasional maintenance - pumping every week or so to "top up". I have used it for two months and not only gained a half inch, my breasts have a rounder, fuller appearance. If you're even considering buying breast enhancement pills, get this instead. It will give you the same, if not better result depending on how long you use it.
- Comfort: Most women find the domes all right to wear. Some need the silicone sheeting, and now Noogleberry has put out a rubber sheeting to pad the domes. I simply pump until I get a "pull" and then stop. Once I'm used to it (a few minutes) I pump again. But this allows you to be in control over how much suction you use. Redness and marking are also significantly less than with the Bosom Beauty.
So far, Noogleberry is the cheapest, most discreet (very quiet and easy to pack and travel with), and seems to have the quickest results. The seller also runs a forum, and her customer support is amazing. She is always there to answer questions, and always willing to improve on products based on customer feedback. Even if you're unsure of a new product such as Noogleberry and would rather try some of the more traditional methods, Brava, Noogleberry is an excellent way to start vacuum breast enhancement, to find out how your body responds and if you can keep up with the regime. Many women have bought $1000 Brava systems only to turn around and sell them on eBay because they don't have the time to use them.
I do not sell any of these items - I am simply sharing my experience to help you decide which method to use.
For more about Brava, Bosom Beauty 2012 and Noogleberry, please contact me (tweety_brrd) and I will provide you with an invite to our forum with real Brava and Bosom Beauty users. Please do not hide your email address, as I cannot send you an invite to the forum without it, or if you require a response to your email I cannot always reply in My Messages (eBay says that I am trying to contact an eBayer I am not involved in a transaction with and blocks my replies even if you write to me first. You can also contact me with any additional questions.
Or simply do a Google search for bosom_buddeez and this will take you to our site. Apply for an invite and we will welcome you on board. The only reason for screening applicants is that we had a few breast enhancement sellers on there before pretending to be users, and giving biased information.
The bottom line? Both methods, with dedication should and have yielded results. Brava is more expensive than the Bosom Beauty 2012 and requires more wear time, however, it has been around longer and it is still debatable whether the results from the Bosom Beauty 2012 are permanent like the Brava, even though many Bosom Beauty users have kept their results for over a year. Brava is more comfortable to use as well. The Bosom Beauty is less expensive but can be very uncomfortable to wear without padding, and also can cause temporary discoloration of the breasts. Not all women are the same. Hopefully this gives you a basic idea of what you're looking at. When I started natural breast enhancement there was little or no information out there and much of what I learned has been through experience, and I want to be of any help to anyone else thinking of vacuum breast enhancement.
Good luck!
