Communication is Very Important When Going on Vacation

This Guide is intended to assist both Sellers and Buyers in the best way to communicate when you are going on vacation and involved in ebay sales

Sellers: 

If you know you are going on vacation and will not be able to send a package to a buyer for weeks - it is a great idea to communicate with your buyer in a timely manner.  A simple email about your inability to send their item, or an announcement that you will be away - in your listings, can easily explain this situation to your buyers so they are not wondering where their items are.  Many buyers pay very quickly, and expect their items to be sent in the same swift manner.  By communicating to them that you will not be sending until a certain date - you can stop them from worrying about the arrival of packages.  Good communication creates goodwill and, perhaps, future business with your valued customers.    

Buyers:

If you know you are going on vacation and will not be able to pay for an item/s for a length of time - it is a great idea to communicate with your seller in a timely manner.  A simple email about your inability to pay right away easily explains your situation to your sellers so they are not wondering where their payments are.  Most sellers expect payment within a certain time period, which they state in their listings.  By communicating to them that you will not be able to pay until a particular date - you can stop them from worrying about the arrival of your payment.  Good communication creates goodwill and a relaxed happy ebay marketplace.
