Oh wow! So much fun! My husband bought us a VacUpack for our home/boat. We saw the VacUpack and Pro2300 working at a boat show. Others bought one there but he bought it online, after pay day. Previously we had a Foodsaver from Costco but it only lasted about 6 months not a very tight vacuum and it burned out with water and supposed over use. Although the store took it back the next one did not work any better for much longer. Water and wet products are such an issue, the Pro2300 did not seal the wet bag at the show that is a big problem and the machine is so big. The Chamber Commercial Vacuum packagers are so expensive, heavy and big to just sit on our little boat and home counter. We do about 1000 to 1500 bags a year and can not see why a small machine needed to be replaced so often, it just was not cost efficient.
The VacUpack seals up the wet bags, I don't have to worry about burning it out with water. The dry stuff is packed really tight for the boat or snacks. The jars we can use are great for nuts and liquids in my fridge. The VacUpack is a good size for our counter, a little antiquated looking not exactly up to space age style but wow does it ever work great! Just thought someone out there might like to know how happy we are with our VacUpack it really does do what it says and packs everything we need for our home and active life style.
Thank you VacUpack!
