VISIONS
CORNING WARE

The Glass-Ceramic Saucepans, Cookpots, Dutch Ovens, Skillets named VISIONS cookware are extrordinary; it's truly visibly superior.  Made of a pioneering, see-through ceramic glass material that withstands temperature extremes. As a result, it offers real convenience and versatility unmatched by conventional cookware. It is durable; chip resistant; and fun!

All Rangetops safe! Use VISIONS pots and pans on any stove top ceramic glass tops, gas flame, electric coil. Who doesn't want to see what's cookin'? See-thru glass lets you check on food while being cooked and stored.

Plus it's Versatile! The same pot can be used for the Rangetop, Oven, Broiler (without the lid), Refrigerator, Freezer, and Microwave.

Many shapes for many uses were produced between 1983-:

Pans with handles: 1 pint covered saucepan; 1 quart lipped covered saucepan; 1 1/2 quart covered saucepan; 1 1/2 quart double boiler; 2 1/2 quart covered saucepan; 3 1/2 quart covered steamer/ stewpot/ stock pot/ Dutch oven with a metal steamer; Two shapes of 5 quart covered saucepot / Dutch oven; 7", 9"/ 2 1/2 quart chicken fryer and 10" skillets with no cover; 7" with cover;

Oven and microwave round pieces: 24 ounce covered round casserole; 1 quart covered round casserole; 1 1/2 quart covered round casserole; 2 1/2 quart covered round casserole; 4 quart covered oval roaster casserole; 5 quart steamer/pasta maker

Grab-It is a round bowl with a round side handle: 15 oz. Grab It with glass and a plastic cover; 14 oz. covered casserette; 24 oz. large covered /Grab It.

VISIONS Versa-Pots Healthy Basics line had larger side rounded handles than pots listed earlier.  A 3-piece Chip "N" Dip set is an 8 x 11" serving platter with a well and a 15 oounce mini-casserole & plastic cover.  Broil and Serve Platters in 14" and 16".

Non-reactive / Non-porous! VISIONS won't absorb food odors or flavors or react with acid-based foods. It will not leak toxins into your food.

Dishwasher Safe as well as cleaning Easily by Hand.  You burned the food? No problem! Use Bar Keepers Friend, a very gentle cleanser that has other uses too.  I offer it in my store, JANETS misc.SERENDIPITY for your convenience or those that cannot locate it locally.

VISION pots are ideal for water based cooking and dishes that require stirring.  Genuine see-through PYREX well fitting glass lid covers were made in the 3 VISIONS colors.

Colors? Original and easiest to locate is a classic AMBER. In 1992 VISION Ware added a pretty CRANBERRY color. In 2007 VISIONS was produced in GOLDEN.

Have you noticed references to production in the past tense?  It is a retired line of cook ware. You may still find it, and many people love it, on eBay, in a Thrift store or a garage sale. Did someone leave black cooked on food the vintage piece? No problem... Use that Bar Keepers Friend. It will clean off the cooked on food and NOT mar the shiny finish of the glass.  Do not be afraid to use formerly owned cookware. You can steralize it and clean it.

In 1989 VISIONS was produced with a non-stick black coating, inside.  Hold the piece up to the light, or ask the eBay Seller, to check for scratching from metal utensils. Don't purchase VISIONS with scratching in the non-stick coating.

All cook pots are clearly marked on the handle "VISIONS". The capacity size follows that. Pyrex marks PYREX on its lids.  If the piece is also marked FRANCE, it is from the very early years of production before Corning in the USA had the ability to produce it. There is no difference in any way other than vintage age.

This 10" Covered Skillet has a waffled inside bottom to help prevent sticking.
