I sold a lot of over 500 Vacuum tubes to an Ebayer buyer this Ebayer sells Vacuum tubes as well. My auction clearly stated "AS-IS" and they were loose used ones and I said in my auction I would not wrap each tube, but I would wrap them all tightly in bubble wrap and place them in a good cardboard box. My auction also said "SHIPPING PRICES ARE NOT NEGICIABLE" (Keep this in mind while reading the rest of this story). The buyer that won the tubes asked me to invoice them, so I did. They didn't like the price so I told them that the majority of the tubes would be smashed in transit if they opted for cheaper shipping. They opted for the cheaper shipping then complained bitterly that over 100 of the tubes were broken. Then they changed their story to say that I only sent 303 tubes instead of 500. The buyer Physically threatened me through emails. Then called my home and possed as a representative of Ebay and said their name was Ed and by the end of the conversation changed it to Dave. The emails became worse and worse until I told the buyer to leave me alone or I would call the Police about Harrassment. The continued I called the Police and have not heard that they actually did anything about it. Then the buyer took it to Pay-Pal. I offered all the evidence to both Ebay and Pay-Pal and was ignored. Pay-Pal give the buyer the money back. The buyer shipped the tubes back and not only took out all the good ones but put a bunch of American Pennys in the box and also declared the value of the tubes more then what they paid for them. So all in all I was out the price I got for the tubes.. out my shipping, also had to pay huge duty because they lied about the value and then to top it off the pennys destroyed over 50% of what was left of the tubes. Can you say scammed? Included in the few and I mean FEW packing peanuts was a letter and 2 homemade stuffed toy rabbits. The letter said (exactly) Now that I won! I'll still take half refund. See you don't get it. I recieved broken tubes not packed correctly your fault, but I was kind to take a parcial refund I still will. Enjoy the bunnys maybe they will sell Helen. I know Helen is Arther Koteraba. He didn't take 1/2 he took all the money and took the good tubes out and left me with junk TV tubes (2, 3, 4, 5 volt and a FEW I mean FEW 6 volt tubes that checked bad) nothing more then a load of junk! Ebay didn't help me. Pay-Pal didn't listen or help me. This Buyer / Seller is dishonest, Illiterate and runs 3 different accounts on Ebay (yes I told Ebay about this and they did nothing) Also they Emailed me and threatened me from these accounts. I have saved all the information as proof if anything becomes of it. I am sure they are scamming the IRS. All accounts were registered to Arther Koteraba The nicks are Bestrecords123 Vintagevalues and Billionwoman. This is all the same person. As I said everything that was pertaining to this incident has been saved but NO ONE at Ebay or Pay-Pal will hear my whole story. You think that Ebay and Pay-Pal would have looked at it closely and seen what happened instead the person who crys and lies the most wins. I highly caution anyone dealing with this seller. As I got burned to the max. I am guessing I am out at least $200+ dollars and have nothing more then junk left. Am I mad? You bet I am. UPDATE since I have wrote this here are his nicknames that he uses on Ebay: arthur6123, edstuff612, greatvintage1, 1-800vintagevalues, itakeoffers, just_vintage1, member080574, oldtimeantiuqes, UPDATE two other nicks have appeared princess_price_is_right and now the most current is iowa_ntiques. As I have said he is contantly changing his nickname and it appears its when someone catches him playing his cheating game. This unsavoury character has changed his nickname constantly to avoid others like myself since he has scammed so many people. If he changes his nick this will no longer allow the buyer to leave him feedback because of the nick change. This is unfair but allows this scammer to get away with alot. He also exagerates the conditions of the tubes he sells. If you read all of his auctions they state the same. Near MINT, MINT, AWESOME, GREAT CONDITION, HIGH QUALITY, SPECIAL, RARE, VERY RARE, EXCELLENT, BEAUTIFUL. He says things like NOS (New Old Stock) in his title but if you click on the auction you can plainly see that he has some used ones. He never gives you reading of his tubes unless he claims it in Percentage (not in Micro-ohms) even thought he claims to have a Hickok tester. Be very careful of his wording as well. He words some of his auctions as "SHOULD work" Tested in 1998. Do you know anyone that would remember that far back? He claims they were his fathers if you see the amount of auctions this guy has then his FATHER must have owed 1/4 of the tubes in China. If you watch him he merely buys lots cheap and then sells them for MAX bucks without lifting a finger. I doubt he checks them and if he does I bet its on a Good or Bad type tube tester. Simply put, the guy is 100% full of himself and knows nothing, but how to lie. Please beware and don't get taken as I have. ***NEWS FASH***  as of September 10 / 2008 ding ding ding he changed his nicks yes AGAIN to Treasure-Trust and Iaoglobal. I got this news from a fellow Ebayer.. speacial thanks goes out to him / her!!! Great Input lets expose this scammer for who he really is!
