Have you heard of Auctiva? Well, you've probably seen it anyway. It's the scrolling window at the top or bottom of seller's listings that features other items the seller has to offer. This is an excellent way to increase traffic to your other listings! Here's a quick guide on setting up an Auctiva account, and how to maximize the benefits. Which brings us to...

What are the Benefits of an Auctiva Window?

Buyers Find Something they were Looking For!

Auctiva's store window is a huge tool for eBay sellers, and it's FREE!  Here's a scenario: You are a buyer looking for a Coach handbag. You click on a listing of a similar item to what you are looking for. It's not what you want, but you notice there are other Coach bags available from this seller in the Auctiva scrolling gallery window at the top of the page...you decide to take a quick look! You enter the Auctiva store...and see the perfect wallet that would match the bag you are looking for! You bid on the wallet, happy, and continue your search. This bid is something that may not have even occurred without the Auctiva scrolling gallery!

The Search Engines

Here's another scenario: A buyer is looking for some sunglasses through the search engines and finally comes across an ebay listing through google. The buyer clicks on the listing, but the item has already closed...disappointing! The buyer sees a scrolling gallery of items peeking out at the top of the page, with the sunglasses they wanted! They click on the store window and find the sunglasses in the Auctiva store. The seller makes a sale! The point is, you can use Auctiva to advertise your store in your completed listings as well as your current ones, since your CURRENT items will be advertised in you CLOSED listings.

What exactly is an Auctiva Store Window?

An Auctiva Store Window is a scrolling gallery that Auctiva users can implant in their eBay listings. It features random items from the eBay seller. When clicked on, it will take the buyer to the item clicked on. There is also a link to an Auctiva store, which is completely free. The seller's items are featured through the "browse my other items" link, and displayed neatly featuring the layout and color scheme of the seller's choosing.

Features

There is a number of customizing features of the scrolling window. You can pick the colors of the window to match the colors of your eBay store or eBay listings, providing a smooth, seamless format for buyers. What's more, Auctiva provides email templates that you can customize to match your eBay listings! You can feature your Auctiva window in end of auction emails to futher enhance your sales with additional sales. There are blogs on the Auctiva account available, as well as custom templates, free image hosting, borders, sales reports, and even a domain available for your Auctiva store for purchase! It's a great account to set up, and it's free.

Good luck with your Auctiva store, it's a great resource!
