Hi, I have been selling custom show clothing, horse tack and saddles along with very high quality Rhinestone zippers on ebay for a number of years.  I use the zippers for jackets and front closing shirts and many other projects. 
There are so many uses for these zippers!  Some suggestions are:

Some tips for inserting the zippers are:

• Use a very fine double sided sewing tape, about 1/8 inch wide for placing the zipper
• Use a regular zipper foot
• Sew the zipper in from the bottom up on both sides
• Use a stone size appropriate for your project
