Speaking as a Sometimes PowerSeller, I have some experience in Sales of Core Auctions, as well as eBay Store Sales. I have to admit, even though spending extra $$ in Fees when listing your Auction seems like a waste of money, eBay is Correct in the fact that Enhancing your Auction will pay off in the overall Success of the Sale of the Item. When listing your item with Bold, Featured (at the Beginning of the Catagory), Highlighted, etc. it indeed grabs Immediate Attention. Of course, the item must be worth the extra listing costs, and a good write up is essential. No enhancements from eBay can help an Auction that doesn't have a good write-up. My experience has been that when you have an item that Should sell in excess of say, $100.+, Enhancements do help. And, probably the Best Value on eBay listings is Picture Pak! You REALLY get you're money's worth there, providing of course you have Multiple Good Photos! Moral of the Story- eBay helps those that help themselves.
