I am in love. With Bare Escentuals, of course! I have been using BE for about a year now and I am having so much fun with it! All of the products feel so good on the skin, and my makeup always look fabulous without looking "made up."
BE's face colors are the most exciting for me. I am finding so many uses for them and I thought I would share a few.
- All over face color, of course. My two favorites are True & Clear Radiance. I have fair skin and like a natural look, so these suite me well.
- Bronzer. I use True (and occasionally, Glee) on the hollows of my checks to give my face a slimming look. I now Glee isn't shimmery like a bronzer, but it does give the slimming effect, when used sparingly. I often do this instead of blush on my cheeks.
- Eye shadow! Yep, instead of getting out another pot for my eyes, I will just whip some Clear Radiance on my upper lid. Lazy? Or efficient?
- Under the eye! This is my favorite. One day when I was putting Clear Radiance on my upper lids, I still had just a touch of color on my brush and I thought, "I wonder what this would do for these dark circles under my eyes?" Awesome. The touch of shimmer really reflects the light so that circles under the eyes are less visible. Just use sparingly.
- Mix with the foundation. This is a lot of fun. Occasionally I will mix True or Clear Radiance in with my foundation. It really adds an all-over glow that is sexy and beautiful.
Experimenting with Bare Escentuals is a lot of fun. I would recommend a little BE therapy for anyone who needs a little pick me up. It is a wonderful and very versatile line of make up.
