BEFORE you bid on that nifty NEW TO YOU Nextel phone..  Please everyone, check the IMEI number with customer care at Nextel.  This will save you a loss of money and a useless phone in your possession.  The IMEI number is an identification number that Nextel keeps track of "lost or Stolen" phones.  They WILL NOT activate them if they are on their list of "missing" phones.  SO.. before you bid ask the seller for the IMEI number of the phone to check it out.  They are listed on 2 places on the Motorola Nextel phones.  Inside the back underneath the battery on the phone ID tag.. AND in the phone under phone info in the menus.  I hope this helps everyone.  I was burnt once by not checking the number out..  NOW that I know..
