In case you haven't heard as of yet, Tanzanite took a major jump in price on rough goods in late March. Tanzanite One, the largest single mining venture in Tanzi Land, raised it's price to importers to a whopping $380.00 per carat at it's last auction.

Tanzanite One is trying to make good on it's promise to raise prices skyhigh. The days of buying AAA grade goods at cheap prices are long gone.

Watch for the Fancy colored Tanzanite to make the next splash on the market. Just like years back when odd colored diamonds were considered junk, you can expect the fancy colored Tanzanite to do the same. As the D Block goes bye bye expect the fancy colored to take center stage!
