- A guide to collecting dvds is simple you get what you like. But, a guide to collecting Disney DVDS is more elaborate. You start with what you can find at your local Best Buy, Wal Mart or Target stores, once in a while you can find 1 at Blockbuster to purchase. WAIT ! DO NOT settle for 1 disc prices. You need to find the 2 disc NEW Platinum series such as : Cinderella, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Lion King and it will say PLATINUM SERIES on the cover itself. All of these and few others are 2 discs, including Disney's PIXAR movies.
- Once you start with these discs you can move to 1 disc Special Feature Disney movies such as: The Sword in the Stone, Dumbo, Lilo and Stitch, Treasure Planet, Fun and Fancy Free. the DVDS have lot of special features provided only on 1 disc, and now in 2006 have become MORE rare to find.
- Check your local movie music stores to find previewed movies at very decent prices, I bought both the Rescuers and Rescuers Down Under PREVIEWED in PERFECT condition for $10.00 each at Strawberries the place near me. Always look for a GOOD bargain anywhere you go!
- Your Last RESORT, you should look for the HARD TO FIND items on EBAY - for a good bargain of course! Always remember NEW editions come out EVERY YEAR of NEW and OLD DISNEY DVDS, keep up to date with what you have, now HAPPY SHOPING!
