Most of the negative reviews & guides here are woefully outdated or simply wrong.   The bank I do business with is CHASE BANK near Ann Arbor here in Michigan.  Their current exchage rate on December 24, 07 for Iraqi Dinars was .00090410 to sell and .00075580 to buy.  Simply call any Chase branch near you and ask for a quote on the current exchange rate for Iraqi dinars, if you like the price, go over pay them and confirm your order and your dinars will usually arrive the next day from their fulfillment center.

To all those who claim you can't sell your dinars here in the U.S. anytime you want, are shall we say uniformed.  I sell dinars on e-bay directly to small buyers who want small amounts.  Some think selling 1000 Dinar Notes for $2.75 is too high a price.  Well I only sell uncirculated 1000 Dinar Notes in quantities of one up to 100 and offer discounts of up to 25 notes free.  Sure after paying all the selling expenses and paying premium prices for my dinars, I still make a small profit.  Which I then use to buy more dinars to build up my personal holdings.  The real profit for all of us is when the currency starts trading on the monex or international currency exchange.  This can only occure after the IMF (international monetary fund) gives the Iraqi Currency its blessing.  The Iraqi Stock Market in a December, 07 press release stated they felt this was coming soon and speculated that the Iraqi Dinar would be pegged at around .43 cents US or $430 per 1000 Dinars.  The same 1000 Dinar Note that I am selling today on ebay for $2.75.  Well when this happens I'm sure none of my customers are going to think they paid to much at $2.75.

This is my first guide and felt obligated to write it, to correct some misconceptions and help my fellow ebayers.  Whether you buy dinars from me or Chase Bank (hopefully from me :)) I just wanted you all to know you can sell dinars at a bank here in the US anytime you want.   Thank You for your time and consideration.  Ralph aka Mountainman333
