What the guy in Canada fails to acknowledge is that these fees "imposed" by UPS for shipments from the US to Canada are Canada import surcharges, NOT UPS fees. What they have to pay the Canadian gov't to complete the delivery, gets collected from YOU, the Canadian buyer. Of course it will cost more than buying direct from a retail store, just don't buy from the U.S. eBay site. Buy from the Canadian eBay site. This way, the product is already in Canada and doesn't have to cross borders.
