As of 19 May 2008, only 350 HR21 Receivers are available for distribution nationwide.
As of 23 April 2008, even with inventory being replenished, only 493 HR21 Receivers are available for distribution nationwide.
As of 26 March 2008, total inventory of HR21 Receivers available for distribution is less than 800, nationwide.
Don't be cuaght without your receiver!
On 26 February 2008, DIRECTV announced that the supply of DIRECTV HR21 HD-DVR Recievers will be VERY LIMITED due to production shortfalls and other issues.
All Authorized DIRECTV Dealers will have limited supply capabilities for this receiver for the next 30 - 45 days according to the announcement.
BEWARE of those Sellers who are not AUTHORIZED DIRECTV DEALERS who are advertising during this period as their products MAY not be what you want to buy!
