Ive been selling on ebay full time for 8 + years now selling USED MOTORCYCLE PARTS - Its a hard business to begin with satisfying the customers but now with the new feedback/dsr ratings its even worst & VERY UNFAIR!  It took me 8 years to actuall BUILD a "good" ebay business (Im 59 now)  hoping someday I can semi retire!  (What the new DSR rating system did is make my business worthless - due to the fact that Ebay can PERMANENTLY SUSPEND me (my business) on any of these UNSEEN DSR RATINGS!)  Anything thats UNSEEN by a seller/buyer is not a FAIR SYSTEM no matter how you look at it because it can be manipulated - there no reason whatever why the sellers cant SEE every DSR rating given : but there IS one reason : theyll see right away that the complete system is bogus & VERY UNFAIR!  (thats why we cant see them)! Heres why - for 8 years i was a powerseller with 99.4+ feedback selling FULL TIME on ebay - THEN the big policy changes took effect - Immediately I was taken OFF powerseller status (new way to look at feedback rule) & my feedback rating which was constantly 99.4+ for 8 years dropped to like 97%  instantly the change took effect Removing me from powerseller status!  THEN the DSR ratings took effect & I got a 4.3 DSR rating in S&H - then a warning - then a SUSPENSION + a THREAT OF PERMANENT SUSPENSION - that was in oct of 08 (to this day my business lost over $7-8,000 & I keep loosing monthly (barely making the bills) - of course ebay gets there share (ive given them over $70,000 in the last 8+ years) !  I HAD to stop selling to ALL my overseas customers just because of the DSR tating system in S&H - NONE on these customers like the cost of shipping + the cost of customs so I had no choice - drop all overseas customers loosing 20-25% of my business! Ive emailed the OFFICE OF THE PRES on this but so far nothings been done to get my overseas customers back!  You may want to email your conserns on these unfair policys here:  (had to remove this link) I just got an email from a customer saying he gave me 4 dsr ratings in all cat. - He was satisfied/got the package as fast as he could get it - with free shipping etc but he still he gave me 4s in all cat!  (a 4 is BELOW the 4.3 rate I was SUSPENDED for) - SO heres how FAIR this really is - NOW IM getting 1-4 DSR ratings in S&H from buyers EVEN THOUGH I have FREE SHIPPING & HDLING on every item!  As you can see Im not impressed at all with ebay or their decision makers - its all VERY UNFAIR (dsr rating system) & untill the sellers stand up to their rights & demand ALL DSR Ratings be shown & a FAIR POLICY Made then excellent sellers like myself will continually get PERMANENTLY SUSPENDED from Ebay after giving their hear/soul/time in building up there businesses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We need to see every DSR rating given & the system needs to be totally changed to make it a FAIR SYSTEM!  The DSR system needs to be dropped to all "overseas buyers that pay customs" so we can get our Overseas Customers back into our business where they belong! (they can give pos/neg feedback on every sale). Another note: because off all of this I was also forced to ship USPS from Fedex (how convienient it was for USPS to have an ebay shipping program all set up this last year & be Ebays biggest supporters of ebay live 2008!) I WONDER if that had anything to do with $$$?  Were all looking to make ebay a better stsyem but it needs to be a FAIR SYSTEM for buyers & sellers - I buy alot more off ebay/year than any avereage buyer so I know both sides of this fence!  I want my overseas customers back - i want to actually SEE every DSR rating given - I want the system to be FAIR so our businesses will actually be worth SOMETHING for all the hard work $$ we put into them!  Bigfootedalien
