J,MACKY

            Also known as James G.McDermott,Jimmy Mac,and J,Mack

      His very early works were signed Jimmy Mac,like the well known song.He personally says that most of these works are lost forever,there could be a few still exsisting he is just not sure where they wound up. He then shortened his name to J,Mack for artist purposes,some of these works are still out there.

        He currently was inspired to start painting after 35 years of inactivity.

                      A very interesting Life story of this Artist

   Currently J,Macky .....The Christ Driven and inspired artist<P>He has been compared with the highwaymen style paintings by novice art collectors. We think he is much better.
  James was born in Queens New York on July 4th 1955.

The only real way to explain this artists real inspirations is to take you on a condensed story of his life.

We will start at the age of two. The amazing thing that James was doing was his drawing of this little fish all shapes and sizes,not just one or two hundreds and thousands of them,They all had one thing in common they all looked like the Christian fish symbol that the followers of Christ have made very popular over the years.     His artistic roots: Since he has been enlightened James now signs his art J,Macky with the Christian fish symbol placed along side it,and gives the glory of his talent as a God given gift that he overlooked all his life.

At the age of 4 James started drawing in three dimensions,A normal child  still draws in a two demensional platform,James was drawing three dimensional car pictures. The story of  Macky's Art will be available in book form early 2008
