Great idea to get one as all people you meet will have a local UK Cellphone number to so you can also text and call them and not be ripped of by USA roaming rates. Way cheaper as well for calling back home to your mates and family.

Very Very good idea to buy one before you go trust me last thing you feal like doing after a long flight is trying find a mobile phone shop the first you want to do is sleap or have lots of fun :) Also you have the benifit of knowing your UK phone number even before you go so you can make sure every one knows it.

All you need to use one of these cards is a USA Triband or Quadband Cellphone. These card do not need activating to use and also come with roaming activated.
