MANY SELLERS OF THE UGG AUSTRALIA "CARDY" CROCHET BOOTS ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF WITH EXCESSIVE PRICING AND SHIPPING! Currently sellers of the latest craze of the UGG Australia crochet boots as seen on Oprah are selling the Cardy style boots for outrageous amounts. Some sellers are selling the Cardy's at "buy it now prices" of  $200.00-$350.00 and buyers are bidding as high $450.00!!! Shipping is outrageous. It will cost a buyer $15-$30.00 in addition to the high price they already paid for the boots.  Look at the UGG Cardy boots featured to the right of this guide.  They are more than double and triple the price (not including the S/H cost) of what they cost at the UGG Australia website.  Do yourself a huge favor and go to the UGG Australia website. You will find them and a whole lot of other different styles of AUTHENTIC UGG shoes, boots and accessories cheaper than what is currently being sold on Ebay. Plus you will avoid the  hassles of waiting, bidding, then knowing you paid too much and worrying about the possibility of paying all that money and getting fakes. If you have shopped on Ebay you know there are A LOT OF FAKES. Also if you want to purchase UGGs on Ebay check the great UGG guides that contain the pictures of the real and the fakes so you won't get ripped off. The guides by nancysuehuk and jamaicalady are really good at helping you to spot fakes. Plus go to the retail websites and get smart on what the authentic UGGs look like.

A Chinese company called TradeKey is selling lots of fake UGG Australia boots..a number of sellers on Ebay have bought these fakes and are selling them as authentic.. Just because a seller says their UGGs are "authentic" doesn't mean they are. When it comes to money..dishonest people lie..a lot...Sellers with 100% positive feedback are selling fakes. Power seller means nothing in the credibility department. It only means they have sold $1,000 worth of merchandise in a month.  If you buy your UGGs on Ebay I guarantee some of them are fakes.

The number of fakes listed on Ebay is out of control.  Ebay does very little to police this site claiming they are "not experts" they just bring sellers and buyers together. That is a crock! They are making money from listings of fake merchandise and trusting buyers are ripped off everyday by the parasites selling fakes. As a buyer when you realize you have purchased a fake you have very little recourse and almost no protection from Ebay.  Buyer beware of any UGG Australia product shipped directly from China. They are fakes. UGG Australia does not sell wholesale or ship from China to a customer. UGG Australia does manufacture their goods in China, but it is tightly controlled and NOT available to customers except through AUTHORIZED UGG AUSTRALIA retail stores in the US.  UGG Australia and any legitimate retail store carrying UGG Australia products limits the number a customer can purchase.  Be careful and get informed on what to look for if you buy your UGGs on Ebay.

For accurate shipping costs go to USPS.com and type in your zip code and the sellers zip code and the estimated weight. This will give you an accurate amount of what shipping should cost. Some sellers may try and scam you by saying the extra fees are for a handling charge and then mail your boots in a poorly packed old cardboard box. That is what happened to me.  My high end shoes came in an old detergent box. So buyer beware.

You can purchase the crochet/Cardy boots for $100-$140.00 with FREE SHIPPING FOR UPS GROUND ORDERS WITHIN THE USA at the UGG Australia website. Unfortunately free shipping to APO/FPO does not apply to this offer.  It will cost $10.00 to ship to an APO/FPO which is cheaper than anything currently offered on Ebay. International shipping is also reasonable. The traditional Cardy boots come in the following colors: black, oatmeal, gray, sky blue and rose according to the UGG Australia website. I purchased 3 pair of Cardy's from UGG Australia: gray, black and oatmeal.  I paid a little more for all three including shipping (my address is an APO) than what some sellers are selling 1 pair for. Although UGG Australia stated my Cardy colors and size are on backorder, I  received a notice saying all of my boots have been shipped. I received my gray, black and oatmeal Cardy's as of today...3 months ahead of schedule!  They are fantastic! Very comfortable, stylish and warm.  They are not itchy because of the fleece lining.  The Cardys do not make your feet sweat and they look great. They are so comfortable it's like walking around in your bedroom slippers! Plus they are easy to pull on and off. Other styles of Cardys are available and they come in many different colors. Check out the UGG Australia website for a good deal on authentic UGG Cardy boots.

The official UGG Australia website features the Cardy boots and Oprah's indorsement on the homepage. Be smart and buy direct from UGG Australia. You may have to wait a little while because they may be on backorder...but so what.... it is worth the peace of mind knowing you bought an authentic pair at a great price. In retail when an item is "on backorder" the date given the buyer for shipment is always the worst case. This date gives the seller plenty of lead time to ship your item earlier than expected...making you very happy. Most items come in before the date given and are shipped immediately. These boots can be worn, spring, fall and winter. These are not trendy boots that will quickly go out of style. They look fantastic with any type of casual pants and jeans. They will give you many years of wear.

Unfortunately,  I have already been contacted by some sellers complaining because I have warned buyers about their gross over pricing tactics and alerted buyers to the UGG Australia website. Of course they have voted against the guide.  However, for some sellers it will always be all about the money and the need for greed versus ethical business practices.  You can also purchase authentic UGG Cardys from Nordstrom's for $139.95 and that includes FREE SHIPPING. This offer also applies to APOs/FPOs. Just go to the Nordstrom's website and type in UGGs. There are many other UGG Australia styles and accessories available.  I just purchased the "classic tall" chocolate brown traditional wool lined UGGs for $149.00 + free shipping from Nordstroms and they shipped immediately. These UGGs have also been selling for $180.00+ on Ebay. Some colors/sizes may be on backrorder at the Nordstroms site. However, it is worth the wait to avoid being ripped off by high prices!! Plus Nordstroms is offering a sale right now on a number of their UGG Australia products. HOWEVER BUYER BEWARE OF SELLERS FROM ARIZONA SELLING UGGS FROM THE NORDSTROMS "LAST CHANCE STORE"IN CHANDLER, ARIZONA AS NEW. These UGGs  MAY BE  damaged or returns.  They also have small holes drilled in the bottom to prevent returns.

Additionally, another great site for authentic UGG Australia boots and shoes at very competitive prices plus offers free shipping and free returns, price matching plus bonus is Englins Fine Footware. Englins is currently listing the UGG Australia crochet boots for $100.00.  They are made by UGG Australia but do not have the buttons on the side like the Cardys do but they will still give you the pull down/slouchy look . These boots are also pull on. Englins Fine Footware is a superior company listing lots of name brand shoes at very competitive prices. Plus they offer specials all the time and go to the coupon sites for additional savings. You will not be disappointed.

I just ordered the brown UGG Australia Locarno boots from Englins. The price was $224 with the discount it was $180.00 and they shipped immediately. I jut received my Locarno boots and they are fantastic..expertly packed and FAST shipping. Plus it was FREE!!! The price for these boots on Ebay is outrageous.  Buyers are purchasing these boots "used" for the same price and sometimes more than what I paid for a new pair of boots. "Used" could mean the boots are floor models and have been tried on many times, they are returns, have been repaired or are seconds. Plus the latest scam is "hardly worn..or worn once" these statements try to convince you the boots are like new and you should pay new prices for them. Once an UGG boot is worn regardless of how many times it begins to stretch. Why would anyone want to pay all that money for a used or flawed product when you can pay the same amount and sometimes less and get a new beautiful pair of boots?

Just type Englins in your search engine.  The prices at Nordstroms and Englins are very close to what you will pay and sometimes a little cheaper than the UGG Australia website. Plus Englins offers price matching..if you find it cheaper they will match the price plus give you a 10% bonus. The free shipping offer applies to APOs/FPOs. Plus your beautiful items are professionally packed by companies who WANT you to be a repeat customer, are concerned about your satisfaction, stand behind what they sell and ship fast. My UGGS from UGG Australia, Nordstroms and Englins arrived professionally packed, fast, FREE OR NOMINAL SHIPPING  and the best news is they are ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC. This is not always true on Ebay. Think of Ebay as a giant flea market. How much trust do you put in a flea market vendor? As the saying goes."trust but verify."

So be careful when you buy.  Ebay is not always the best or cheapest source. Check out the UGG Australia, Englins and Nordstrom's websites for comparison shopping.

When purchasing UGGs on-line there are other sites advertising UGGs but they are not associated with UGG Australia. I do not work for UGG Australia, Nordstroms or Englins nor do I sell their products. I just hate seeing people being taken advantage of by sellers who sell fakes, mislead, grossly inflate the price of the new "it" item and charge $15.00-$30.00 to ship a pair of boots! The "need for greed" sellers  mislead buyers into thinking Ebay is the only source for these "hard to find" products or try and convince you "it's sold out everywhere" plus pressure buyers to think"gotta have it now" and then try and convince you of the "great deal" you are getting. In reality this isn't always true! Shop wisely.
